"The Glory of the Sun on a Bird "- Metal Wall Sculpture
DESCRIPTION: This piece is 2 separate pieces of steel that have been sculpted / cut in a way as to represent a bird craning its neck upward to soak up the sun's rays. The top layers are done in acrylics and using a wide variety of textures and colors. I have applied a patina to the bottom layer of mild steel to give the piece a contrasting quality. The patina is transluscent so you can see the swirling texture of the metal's brush marks beneath. A clear coat has been applied to the top surfaces to protect against UV fading and moisture.

DIMENSIONS: Approximately 28" x 12"
CARE: You can wipe the piece with simple glass cleaner. Try to keep moisture from sitting on the piece for extended periods of time.
