"Layers of Calm "- Metal Wall Sculpture
DESCRIPTION: This piece is separate pieces of steel that are cut and then framed with brushed steel. The layers are connected to one another but appear to float over each other without being attached. Each layer is painted in acrylics to provide different textures (vertical and horizontal lines) and colors that give a sense of calm (to me anyway). The frames are left in a brushed steel finish to contrast with the acrylics and give it a small sense of modernism. A clear coat has been applied to the top surfaces to protect against UV fading and moisture.

DIMENSIONS: Approximately 30" X 24"
CARE: You can wipe the piece with simple glass cleaner. Try to keep moisture from sitting on the piece for extended periods of time.
