"Evolution "- Metal Wall Sculpture
DESCRIPTION: This piece is 4 separate pieces of steel that are welded / bolted together in layers to give a "floating" quality. The 3 top pieces are done in acrylics and cut out of steel in shapes that remind me of the starting material for "Evolution". I have applied a patina to the bottom layer of mild steel to give it texture. The patina is transluscent so you can see the swirling texture of the metal's brush marks beneath. A clear coat has been applied to the top surfaces to protect against UV fading and moisture.

DIMENSIONS: Approximately 48" X 11"
CARE: You can wipe the piece with simple glass cleaner. Try to keep moisture from sitting on the piece for extended periods of time.
