I hand plasma cut the shapes out of this metal sculpture and then put another layer of steel behind it. I then pput a custom grind pattern in the metal so that it shines through to the front of the piece. There is a baked on clear powder coat that protects it. The translucent colors are very dyanamic - you can see the texture of the grind in the metal as the light changes on the piece.
